Two Part drama which focuses on the New York criminal Justice System showing a murder Investigation by Police and then the criminal prosecution in court by the prosecutors.
Follows the New York City Police Department's (NYPD) Major Case Squad (MCS), a force of detectives who investigate high-profile murder cases, while also showing parts of the crime from the perpetrator's point of view.
Mike Flaherty, the Deputy Mayor of New York City, and his team of half-wits must constantly save the Mayor from embarrassment and the media. Mike is later succeeded by Charlie Crawford.
