    Three months later. Lois Lane, the second cousin of Chloe Sullivan, arrives in Smallville trying to find the missing Clark Kent to help her to find Chloe's murderer. After being struck by a mysterious ray, she loses control of her car, and finds Clark naked with amnesia in a cornfield. She brings him to Smallville Medical Center, where Martha is with Jonathan Kent, who has been in an irreversible coma. Martha brings Clark back to the farm, expecting him to retrieve his memory. However, Clark is completely dehumanized, having been taken over by his alter-ego Kal-El, whose mission is to find three Kryptonian crystals to assemble into one. Meanwhile in Paris, Lana Lang has an American boyfriend, a young man named Jason Teague, and is having a good time with him, until things take a turn when she gets hit with a mysterious spiritual force containing the spirit of a long-dead witch. Elsewhere, Lex is struggling to recover from being poisoned as he travels to bring an ancient object retrieved from an excavation in Egypt which Clark/Kal-El is also after and uses his flying abilities to steal the crystal... in midair. Also, Lois visits the imprisoned Lionel to talk with him about Chloe, while Martha has a meeting with an associate of Virgil Swan's, named Bridget Crosby, who gives her a new type of kryptonite to combat Clark/Kal-El.

Meanwhile, Martha accepts a job managing The Talon while Lois starts working for the school paper the Torch, and gets just a little closer to Clark.

    Spell

    In 1604, in southern France, Lana Lang's distant ancestor Countess Margaret Isabel Thoreau and two other evil witches are condemned to be burned at the stake by Magistrate Wilkins, but Isabel manages to spit her blood on a symbol on a page of their mighty book of spells. In the present day, Lana buys the book on eBay, and by touching the blood-spotted symbol, resurrects the evil countess who possesses her body. Isabel/Lana uses a spell to let the other two witches posses Chloe and Lois. The powerful trio vows to pursue its quest for the three (actually Kryptonian) magical stones which can bring them unseen power. The trio enters a 'surprise' birthday party for Chloe in the barn of the Kent Farm and Isabel throws a spell to make the spectacle really hot, so Clark is one of many boys dancing and drinking in boxer-shorts when his appointment arrives, a representative from Princeton University, who is impressed in a way which can't amuse Clark's parents. The vicious witches cast spells against Jason, who is thrown out of a window but caught just in time by Clark, and Lex, who is made to play the piano constantly so his fingers start bleeding till Clark shoves the piano away, and even to draw the super-power from Clark.

    When Lana is attacked in her apartment and Jason in his car by an invisible being, everyone believes that Alicia Baker was responsible, except Clark. However after a series of circumstances, Clark begins to doubt Alicia's innocence to the mysterious attacks. Alicia tells Clark that she'll offer to prove her innocence if Clark reveals his own superpowers, but Clark refuses. So, Alicia secretly shows Chloe the abilities of Clark, expecting people to leave them both alone. But elsewhere, Lois discovers that the real culprit of the attacks is the deranged Tim Westcott who's jealous of Alicia's abilities which leads to him murdering her, and then goes after Clark. Meanwhile, Genevieve Teague arrives back in Smallville and approaches Lex Luthor to get his help to separate her son Jason from Lana.

    As if Lois Lane didn't make enough of a nuisance of herself now living at the Kent farm, she brings in Einstein, a golden retriever, who is the latest victim to be hit by her car, and she meanly calls him 'Clarky', while Clark, kind as ever, hopes to keep him as a pet if the owner isn't found, which his parents hope. Clark soon finds out it's a surviving dog of an experiment to give canines superpowers with daily injections of steroids mixed with meteorite fragments (kryptonite) produced at LuthorCorp, which Lex insists to Clark that the project was abandoned after animal activist protests, thinking they were all put down. Only later Clark finds out, the hard way, the dog and a Rothweiler are abused by evil Josh Greenfield and his kid brother Zack, who run the Smalville animal shelter and abuse dog whistles to control the super-dogs as weapons for robberies. Meanwhile, Jason and his secretive and manipulative mother, Genevieve, are revealed to know more about Lex and his apparently reformed father Lionel, while Lana and Chloe all take a keen interest in the relevance of the Teague and Lang family trees, which have common roots in countess-witch Isobel's French place of origin.

    When Jason arrives at Lana's apartment at The Talon, they see that is was broken into and wrecked. They discover that the magical stone they took from the Chinese temple is gone. But the two meet at Lionel's office, who strongly denies any knowledge of the theft and accuses his son Lex, who makes another innocence-claimant. Meanwhile, the Kent farm gets an uninvited guest's guest: Lois Lane's younger sister Lucy, a violinist who left her fancy Swiss boarding school. The Lane girls start hanging out at Clark's place and at The Talon, where Clark catches Lucy stealing from the till; she says to be in debt with Swiss loan shark Marcus Becker "to afford the lifestyle" of the spoiled brats in her class. Lex knows Becker as member of a major crime syndicate he has business problems with, and offers to help. Becker isn't content to take Lex' money, he kidnaps the sisters to extort more, Clark decides it's time to use his superpowers.

While Clark teams up with the nosy Lois to find the other students, he also talks with Jonathan and Martha over his college choices after graduation. Meanwhile, Genevieve and Jason Teague kidnap Lionel and Lex Luthor and hold them hostage in a remote mountain cabin and torture both of them to try to retrieve the second mystical stone that Lionel took from them.

    When Lana (possessed by Isobel) kills Genevieve Teague by stabbing her with one of the Kryptonian Knowledge Crystals after she attempts to steal it, it triggers a cosmic event that not only severs Lana's link to the spirit Isobel but also sends meteorites from deep space toward Earth and Smallville. At the graduation ceremony for Smallville High, the military arrives to evacuate the town after news that another meteor shower is imminent. Fearing he has a link to the meteorites, Clark goes to talk to the spirit of Jor-El, who informs him that his only hope is to unite the knowledge crystals in the cave. With time running out, Clark sets about locating the final two crystals as meteorites reign down upon Smallville. Lana gives Clark the third stone they recovered from China, which was in her possession all this time, while the second stone is on Lionel's person, which activates. Lex offers to protect Lana and have her flown to New York City, but she gets caught in the meteor shower while riding in a helicopter. Lois manages to get out of Smallville in time, but Chloe stays behind to follow Clark who retrieves the final one from Lionel which hits them with a burst of energy driving him comatose. Chloe helps Clark retrieve the final stone from the Luthor mansion safe after he is immobilized by kryptonite, and helps him escape from Lex. Clark manages to unite all three stones, which transports him to the wild tundra of the frigid North Pole...

    Gabriel Duncan is a deranged teenager who breaks in the control room of a nuclear silo in Smallville, kills the two security guards, and starts the launch sequence to send one missile to destroy Smallville in one hour. He calls his friend Chloe, who is moving to the university, and asks her to leave the town that he wants to destroy because of the population of "meteor freaks." The army does not know which of the sixteen silos might have been broken in by Gabriel. Meanwhile, Clark and Lana sleep together in his room and early in the morning, Lana sneaks out of the house, but Jonathan and Martha see them. When Chloe calls Clark, he plots a simulation of a car accident with Chloe to force Gabriel to disclose his position. When Gabriel meets Chloe, Clark is deadly shot by the insane teenager, dying in the hospital. Suddenly, Lionel Luthor awakes from his catatonic situation in Belle Reve and Clark's body vanishes from the hospital which leads to both meeting at the Kryptonian Fortress of Solitude at the North Pole which leads to a surprising discovery for Clark. Elsewhere, the evil Lex continues to obsessively study the black spaceship at the LutherCorp warehouse and discovers that something else has climbed out of the ship.

She found a picture of Senator Jennings with the girl and is following the lead. Clark believes Lex is involved with the crime, but Lex helps him in the investigation. Lois decides to go undercover by working at the nightclub as a stripper to investigate the murder. When Lois meets the criminal, she is abducted and her life is in danger.

    While returning home with Lois, Martha is hit by a flash of light followed by a thunder and contracts a lethal Kryptonian disease. Clark fears that Jor-El thus makes him pay for his resuscitation and asks for help from Professor Milton Fine, who tells Clark that Jor-El was a dictator on Krypton, who destroyed their great leader General Zod and the planet but sent Clark to Earth to dominate the world; the death of Martha would only be prevented by destroying the Fortress of Solitude. Meanwhile, Lionel convinces Chloe to investigate who Milton Fine really is. When Lois, feeling offended because Lex called her a "muffin peddler", meets Chloe, the double visits LuthorCorp., where the truth is revealed: Professor Milton Fine is actually a Kryptonian artificial intelligence unit, created by Jor-El but re-programed and corrupted by the Kryptonian rebel General Zod, who was executed for treason, and had his spirit banished to the hell-dimension of the Phantom Zone. Fine, a Brain-Interactive-Construct (aka: Brainiac), is trying to trick Clark into releasing Zod's spirit from the Phantom Zone by destroying the Fortress of Solitude.

In his near death experience, Lex is a simple man beloved by the people of Smallville and best friend of Jonathan and Clark. Meanwhile in the real world, he is submitted to a life-threatening surgery ordered by Lionel to avoid becoming crippled. Also, Chloe asks Clark to deliver many Christmas gifts to poor children, and Clark meets a sad and disappointed Santa Claus contemplating suicide. In the end, Lex concludes that love is cursed, based on the fate of Julian, Lillian and Lana, and power and money are the most important values in his life... which leads to him finally starting down the path of the dark side beginning when he secretly orders the execution of the junkie couple who attempted to kill him.

Martha offers Jonathan's watch to Clark, but he refuses. Martha goes to Metropolis to donate Jonathan's belongings to a mission, and she is assaulted by two lowlife criminals. However, she is rescued by a masked and powerful vigilante, but one of the punks steals the watch. Clark feels guilty about the watch and visits Chloe, trying to track the muggers. They decide to find the 'Angel of Vengeance,' and when they meet her, she discloses her identity of Chloe's klutzy colleague Andrea Rojas and tells that she became powerful six months ago after a heart transplantation of a donate that was hit by the meteor shower. Her mother and she were attacked by a mugger who killed her mother while Andrea survived, thirsty of revenge against the killer of her mother. Clark joins Andrea, but with a different viewpoint of justice since Andrea believes in killing criminals who have gotten away with murder through legal technicalities, whereas Clark still believes in the court system despite it not working most of the time. Meanwhile, Lionel tries to take the LuthorCorp from Lex, but he is blackmailed and gives up his intention.

    During a power blackout, Chloe sees the ghost of a girl and cuts her both wrists. Chloe is interned in the hospital, and the psychiatrist diagnoses that she had a breakdown due to stress. However, Clark brings his friend to Lois's apartment above The Talon, where Chloe is possessed by a spirit of the dead girl, called Gretchen, and shows Clark the place where the skeleton is hidden in the Talon's wall. Chloe leaves the apartment alone seeking revenge against the killer, while the deranged orderly Michael Westmore kidnaps Lois. Meanwhile, Clark researches for information about the death of Gretchen in old newspapers. Also, Lionel encourages Martha to take the late Jonathan's place as senator to move on with her life.

    After being released from a prison in a laboratory of Luthorcorp's Cyntechnics by sympathetic scientist Dr. Hong, former Metropolis High football player Victor Stone is chased by armed security guards and hit by Lana's truck, without any harm. The car is totally destroyed, Lana wounds her forehead and Victor takes her to a hospital. Lana calls Clark, and he meets Victor, who played football against him in high school and died a year ago in a car crash. Victor explained that he became a living machine as part of the machine project researched by the evil Dr. Allister Krieg sponsored by Luthorcorp. Further, he misses his girlfriend Katherine. Clark promises to help him and visits Lex, who lies and tells Clark that he was not aware of the project. Meanwhile, Martha is blackmailed with a DVD showing Clark on a security camera rescuing the unconscious Lana from the warehouse explosion (from episode 'Lockdown') and Lionel offers to help her find the blackmailer.

Lex is vehemently against Lana -whose health problems are soon diagnosed a happy surprise- taking charge of fund raising for a half-way house, without telling her his reason for fearing contact with its clients, even on few occasions: he bribed Dr. Black to administer the wonder drug to its problem youths, one of which was the car-jacker. Martha Clark insists to invite Lionel for the first Thanksgiving dinner after Jonathan's death.

Meanwhile, Oliver painfully decides to break up with Lois, feeling that his dedication to justice is more important, but he leaves out that information from her.

Also, Lois further meddles in the shooting case by stealing a silver-lined cigarette case which holds a clue.

Lois goes to Reeves Dam in search of information about Lex's secret lab and is brutally stabbed by a security guard. Chloe finds a piratically dead Lois at the dam where in a moment of weakness, Chloe's secret power is finally revealed.

    Chloe and Lois are attacked by two thugs which one of them is hit by Lois with her heel, she starts feeling a bit heroine about it so she recruits Jimmy for the picture so she can convince the people she is Metropolis' new hero, with the name of 'Stiletto', so she can take away the famous red and blue blur. However, Lois may end having contact with this red and blue blur when Clark wants to try to track down the mysterious 'Stiletto'. While Clark tries to help Chloe recover her stolen laptop computer with all of the Justice League's files on it, she continues to hide Davis in the basement of The Talon. Elsewhere, Jimmy is working as a bartender at a nightclub where the thugs who robbed Chloe and Lois reside and are plotting to kill Stiletto to reclaim the city for themselves.

    Davis asks Chloe if she can go away from the city with him, but when Clark realizes Davis is alive, he confronts Chloe to give him an explanation about it. Later, when Oliver sees Jimmy breaking into Chloe's apartment to steal money and items to buy more drugs, things get worse when Davis appears and attacks them both. It leads to an angry Clark tracking down Davis/Doomsday to the ruins of the Fortress of Solitude for a brutal confrontation.

Meanwhile, Oliver, as the Green Arrow, agrees to help Clark look for things that can stop Davis by breaking into Tess' safe at the mansion to steal some black Kryptonite hoping to separate the two entities apart, while Chloe is revealed not who she appears to be, and Tess is working for another greater power beyond everyone else.

But in a surprising twist, Lois confronts Tess about her nefarious plans involving a mysterious crystal and in the fight, Lois accidentally finds Rokk's ring, and gets zapped into the future. Meanwhile, Chloe gets in the middle of Clark and Oliver's fight about Doomsday's human carnage, in which Dianah/Black Cannary and Bart/Impulse intervene. Jimmy finds out Clark's identity, leading to a fateful showdown when Clark attempts to use black kryptonite to split Davis from Doomsday and seal the beast in a large hole in the ground. But nobody is prepared for what Davis will do afterwords.

Elsewhere, Oliver turns down a dark path in his quest to rid the world of evil. General Zod makes his entrance at the Luthor mansion before Tess.

Courtney pleads with Hawkman and Dr. Fate to help her catch the killer that is targeting their group but they are reluctant to resume their duties as superheroes. Clark, John Jones, Green Arrow and Chloe team up to help the JSA stop Icicle before he murders another member of the group. Meanwhile, Lois receives a package from a mysterious agency called Checkmate, run by the shadowy Amanda Waller.

Meanwhile, Zod quarrels with Tess as well as his wife, Faora, over the construction of the new solar tower which he hopes will restore his and the Kandorians super powers which will enable them to take over the Earth.

When Chloe is captured by Checkmate agents, Waller threatens to kill Chloe unless Clark gives her the names and locations of the rest of the Justice League.

    Clark is desperate to find the Book of Rao before Zod can find it. If it falls into Zod's hands, he will take over Earth. He's asking Chloe for her help. She is hampered by Tess's ravaging of her Watchtower equipment. Lois tells Clark she has a sure-fire way of getting their jobs back, but he is too preoccupied to listen. Her feelings are hurt. She says she needs a mission in life. In the midst of all this, Clark's mom returns unexpectedly with Perry White, whom she has been dating. Lois is smitten with Perry and shows him her hot lead - a photo of the Red/Blue Blur and tales of an alien race that is looking for the Book of Rao. She holds up a picture of it. Perry's jaw drops. He reaches into his briefcase and pulls out a copy of the same symbol. He tells her that they have a shared story. He is investigating an explosion of a secret government complex in the Rocky Mountains but has been blocked by someone with the code name, Red Queen. Meanwhile, Maxwell Lord has imprisoned Tess, demanding that she hand over the Book of Rao. As Chloe tries to help Clark search for the book, the Red Queen locks her computers. At an uncomfortable "family" dinner, Lois informs Clark that she's breaking up with him. Tess awakes from the mind manipulation that Lord has been using on her to get the Book of Rao. She grabs his gun and escapes. She heads home to get Rao from her wine cellar hiding place. But the real Red Queen - Martha Kent - holds her at gunpoint, knowing she would go for Rao when she fled Lord. Tess is forced to hand it over. Perry and Lois's story collapses, but his good word to the Planet editor gets Lois and Clark their desks back. At the Kent farm, Clark tells his mom that he knows now she is the Red Queen. She answers back that she has never stopped trying to protect him. If he uses the knowledge in the Book of Rao to exile all Kryptonians to another plane, it will exile all Kryptonians from Earth, including himself. She hands the Book of Rao to him.

Tess attempts to stop Zod but he leaves her clinging to life. Clark and Zod battle for control of Earth.

Despite his success, Clark lets his confidence be undermined by Jor-El in the ice fortress, but reconsiders after a pep-talk from Jonathan.

    Radio personality Gordon Godfrey becomes possessed by the dark force that Clark was warned about. Godfrey begins waging a crusade against all super-heroes as part of a promotional tour for his anti-vigilante book. Clark is standing on the fringe of a rally when Lois returns to give him a big hug. As they talk, a billboard falls toward the crowd. Clark rushes to catch it before it crushes the crowd. He is not needed. A very visible Kara (dressed in her Supergirl outfit) catches it. She has come back to Earth to tells Clark that Jor-El has sent her to take care of the evil that is coming. Jor-El is sure that the doubt in Clark's heart will allow the dark force to possess him and use Clark's powers as the ultimate weapon. Clark is reluctant to give up on what he views as his own mission. In an attempt to push himself further along, he asks Kara to give him flying lessons. He tries to launch himself from the top of the windmill. It works momentarily, until he then plummets to the ground through the barn roof. Lois learns that Godfrey is planning to reveal Green Arrow's identity online when he posts the final chapter of his book. This will create doubt all over the world about the super-heroes so that he can manipulate them down a new path. Clark and Kara confront Godfrey at a seedy nightclub. Kara's Kryptonian bracelet exorcises the entity from Godfrey. Lois rushes to tell Oliver about the big reveal that is scheduled. It is unnecessary. Oliver has Oliver decided it is best everyone knows the truth. He has scheduled a press conference and announces his identity as Green Arrow.

    Still gravely pondering his place in life, Clark lets Lois drag him along to their Smallvillle high school reunion. Rather than enjoying his hero status, while Lois shines less than she expected, Clark worries when he spots Brainiac, but it turns out he returned from the future with the Legions ring to show Clark how vital his contribution is to prevent a horrible future for him, Oliver, their friends and the world.

    Oliver enjoys his new, public role since he outed himself as super-hero, yet misses Chloe desperately and feeling guilty. His example further inspires Clark to tell at least Lois, but just when they meet to that end an Egyptian jewel allows the Pharaonic goddess Isis to take possession of her body, eager to resuscitate her beloved Osiris, all required being at hand from a major exposition in Metropolis, but that would also revive his realm, hell, on earth. Tess, who is otherwise preoccupied with Lex's boy-clone Alexander, joins Oliver and Clark at Watchtower, where she proves herself able to fill in for Chloe IT-wise. Even with that invaluable research, Clark nearly perishes in his supernatural duel with Isis. Cat get caught in the fight and mistakenly believes Lois is the evil Blur.

    Clark examines a rural hamlet where blue kryptonite in the water has no known negative effects. However when a bell rings, tho local deputy regretfully knocks out the nosy reporter 'at the wrong time and place'. Lois has a car crash nearby and is nursed by an Amish family. Yet when she wants to leave, she discovers their chilling true intention, as the extremely aberrant sect does with one female every year. In the Luthor mansion, Alexander insists to be called Lex and his aging condition requires 'regular' birthday parties. Mercer's plan to give him a cure if the original lex's research allows so is reconsidered as she realizes this clone may be too perfect.

    Clark is far from impressed that Lois barely dares rebuke her kid sister's mean pranks on both of them, while squirming for each, even offensive, whim of Pa, full general Sam Lane, as their Thanksgiving guest. Clark firmly but politely hosts the Lanes, while reasoning against the general's support for a bill to make 'registration' compulsory for superheroes, an obvious trap given the congressional supporters' antecedents. While Oliver investigates them, Clark saves everybody from proponent Rick Flag's Machiavellian rocket attempt on the general's life. Only when Lois finally sides with Clark against Pa, he reveal his ulterior motive for exaggerated rudeness.

    Clark accompanies Tess, who got childhood nightmares triggered by a mysteriously delivered music-box, to the orphanage where she was left behind by her parents. They find out the hard way 'Granny', who runs it, far from her philanthropic image, in fact ruthlessly rules a brain-washed power girls ring. The general finally sent Lois the video made by her late mother when dying from cancer. Dealing with painful and sweet memories, she ends up digging in Clark's Kryptonian parental antecedents in the fortress.

As feared, he's tortured in a secret prison to turn on his superhero friends. Tess helps work out the design from Luthor plans for an underwater top-security facility, build in sixfold. Aquaman 'A.C.' Arthur Curry and his new wife Mera discover and penetrate the one Oliver is held in, but the general rather starts auto-destruct. Clark remains cautious and flashes to the rescue but has to deal with a specific counter-measure.

Clark must be careful not to tip off Lionel that he's not his son while trying to figure out how to get back to Earth where the monster Clark Luthor was transported in his place.

Then she, or rather her avatar, appears in dreams to each of them, claiming they only lost their powers in a virtual illusion, which can nevertheless kill them for real. She calls upon them to trust her, break the virtual spell by believing it fake and thus escape back into reality, with Rick Flag's team. Oliver does so quickly, and is reunited with his true love. Clark wants to, but finds it extremely hard, until Lois joins in.

    Clark Kent is in nostalgic mood after Martha signs over the deed to the farm as a wedding present, wondering whether it suggests he and Lois should sell and move. Clark Luthor surprises him, using the mirror box and shattering it after having sent Kent to his world, then fool everyone for a while, in search of bloody vengeance on at least one Luthor. Kent finds himself, public enemy number one against whom everyone caries green kryptonite, at Oliver's funeral, where a bitter Jonathan scolds the 'scrooge'. Recognized and helped by the other Lois, he seeks to appease hatred and find a way back. Dr. Emil Hamilton frantically tries to repair the mirror-box, just in time.

    Booster

    episode S10.E18 april 2011
    Clark gets an inverse make-over from Lois, in order to become a gray mouse when the Blur goes public. Just then, a flashy media-hungry new superhero emerges: Booster Gold, who systematically steals the show. Clark discovers Booster came from the future with a Legionnaire's ring, probably stolen. Generally bullied, shy schoolboy Jaime Reyes is inadvertently infected with the alien scarab which Booster was hired to retrieve for industrialist Ted Kord, hence transformed into the Blue Beetle, an uncontrollable monster. Clark could just expose Booster as a fake coward, but chooses to educate him in superhero ethics.

    Dominion

    episode S10.E19 april 2011
    After the banished General Slade is found on earth, Clark realizes the Phantom Zone portal must be open and decides to go close it, however dangerous as his super powers don't work there. Oliver was denied coming along but managed by surprise. The heroes find the zone under the rule of General Zod, who looks forward to his revenge for both worlds on Clark and was promised full dominion by Darkseid if he eliminates the great Kryponian adversary. So Clark is forced to enter Zod's arena's mortal gladiator combat, while Oliver is offered an alternative and reminded of being Omega-branded already, which no earthling knows yet. In the Watch Tower, Lois discovers the three hours portal destruction 'safeguard' Clark ordered Tess to trigger and fights it.

    Searching for the Bow of Orion, the only known means to stop the Darkness, Oliver and Kara independently reached the same booby-trapped underground sanctuary. Kara got herself trapped, but Oliver rescues her in Indiana Jones style. Together they decipher and follow the clues to the bow, only to be get a bitter surprise. Meanwhile instead of giving his blessing in the fortress, Jor-El temporarily transfers Clark's super-powers to his already far too cocky bride.

    While working in the night shift at the Daily Planet, Chloe receives a distressed phone call from a woman claiming that she is in danger. Chloe and Lois schedule a meeting with the woman, but a car runs over her and the cousins witness the murder. Meanwhile, the close friend of Jonathan, Senator Jack Jennings, visits the farm to rest from his campaign for the senate against Lex Luthor. Jonathan is surprised by the visit of Detective Maggie Sawyer, who is investigating the death of the nineteen-year-old stripper that Chloe and Lois witnessed last night. She found a picture of Senator Jennings with the girl and is following the lead. Clark believes Lex is involved with the crime, but Lex helps him in the investigation. Lois decides to go undercover by working at the nightclub as a stripper to investigate the murder. When Lois meets the criminal, she is abducted and her life is in danger.

    Chloe and Lois are attacked by two thugs which one of them is hit by Lois with her heel, she starts feeling a bit heroine about it so she recruits Jimmy for the picture so she can convince the people she is Metropolis' new hero, with the name of 'Stiletto', so she can take away the famous red and blue blur. However, Lois may end having contact with this red and blue blur when Clark wants to try to track down the mysterious 'Stiletto'. While Clark tries to help Chloe recover her stolen laptop computer with all of the Justice League's files on it, she continues to hide Davis in the basement of The Talon. Elsewhere, Jimmy is working as a bartender at a nightclub where the thugs who robbed Chloe and Lois reside and are plotting to kill Stiletto to reclaim the city for themselves.

Meanwhile, Clark tries to convince Lana to leave Lex, but she refuses and Clark becomes more suspicious about Lionel's involvement with Lana's motivation. Following Senator Burke's murder, Martha is asked to be his replacement in Washington D.C. which means leaving Smallville (and Clark) behind.

    When Jason arrives at Lana's apartment at The Talon, they see that is was broken into and wrecked. They discover that the magical stone they took from the Chinese temple is gone. But the two meet at Lionel's office, who strongly denies any knowledge of the theft and accuses his son Lex, who makes another innocence-claimant. Meanwhile, the Kent farm gets an uninvited guest's guest: Lois Lane's younger sister Lucy, a violinist who left her fancy Swiss boarding school. The Lane girls start hanging out at Clark's place and at The Talon, where Clark catches Lucy stealing from the till; she says to be in debt with Swiss loan shark Marcus Becker "to afford the lifestyle" of the spoiled brats in her class. Lex knows Becker as member of a major crime syndicate he has business problems with, and offers to help. Becker isn't content to take Lex' money, he kidnaps the sisters to extort more, Clark decides it's time to use his superpowers.

In the Luthor mansion, Alexander insists to be called Lex and his aging condition requires 'regular' birthday parties. Mercer's plan to give him a cure if the original lex's research allows so is reconsidered as she realizes this clone may be too perfect.
