In the meantime, they still continue to bring drugs in by having people sneak across the border by going throw a ranch owned by Alex's friends. But when the husband catches them, he calls his foreman for help but he kills the man, apparently he works for the Ortegas. Upon learning of what happened the Ortegas make plans to buy the ranch.
