Abu sufyan tries to settle down things because he knows they are guilty and broke the Hudaybiyyah treatise. The prophet decides go mecca and take it and if people give the city there will be no battle. When muslims come to mecca they don't encounter with prominent resistance. Mecca becomes a muslim city.
