Spongebob must write an essay for Boating School, but he keeps putting it off. Patrick's parents come to visit, and Patrick wants to make a good impression.

Plankton uses one of his devices to get a glance into the life of Mr. Krabs, which is not all that he expects it to be; After being mistaken for a lifeguard by Larry, SpongeBob must protect his lie a well as the safety of the beach goers.

Squidward is forced to eat a Krabby Patty; A large and mean new student joins Mrs. Puff's boating class and immediately decides that he wants to cause bodily harm to SpongeBob.

Mermaidman and Barnacleboy IV: Mermaidman and Barnacleboy are eating at the Krusty Krab when Mermaidman accidentally drops his utility belt. SpongeBob finds the belt and can't resist it. He takes it home and tries it on. He plays being Mermaidman for a while and starts touching the buttons. When Patrick comes over he accidentally shrinks him with his laser-shrinking button. When Squidward hears the noise and comes to complain, SpongeBob accidentally shrinks him too. Panicked, he ends up shrinking all of Bikini Bottom. Embarrassed, he has no choice but to go to Mermaidman, confess that he played with the belt and shrank everyone. At least he'll know which button makes everyone big again. But Mermaidman can't remember so SpongeBob ends up shrinking the whole town so everything seems back to normal. Doing Time: During a boating lesson with Mrs. Puff, SpongeBob loses control of his boat and crashes it into a juice truck and a senior citizens home. Mrs. Puff confesses that she is responsible for SpongeBob, so the police throw her in jail. SpongeBob is determined to free his teacher who he feels was wrongfully imprisoned. But Mrs. Puff is having a wonderful time. At last she can relax without having to worry about accompanying SpongeBob on any more harrowing boating lessons ever again-that is until SpongeBob and Patrick sneak into the jail and attempt to break her out.

Spongebob tries to get into the Salty Spitoon, the toughest club in town. Squidward must turn the Krusty Krab into a five-star restaurant in order to impress his nemesis, Squilliam Fancyson.

"Born Again Krabs": Mr. Krabs refuses to let SpongeBob throw away a moldy Krabby Patty that was festering under the grill. He tries to pawn it off on customers to save the fifty-two cents he would have lost if he threw the patty away. No-one will eat it. Finally, to demonstrate it's still good, Mr. Krabs takes a bite...and ends up hospitalized for food poisoning. The Flying Dutchman comes to take his soul, but Mr. Krabs strikes a bargain with him - let him return to life and prove he's not cheap, and if he fails, he will spend eternity in Davey Jones' locker. "I Had an Accident": SpongeBob, while sand sledding, breaks his butt! Paranoid for his own safety he becomes a hermit and cloisters himself in his house. Sandy and Patrick do all they can to try and get him to come out, but to no avail. Finally, Sandy pretends she is being attacked by a gorilla, played by Patrick in a gorilla suit.

Spongebob unknowingly snitches on a notorious strangler, who vows revenge. Later, Spongebob and Patrick prank the whole town by pretending to be ghosts.

Fear of a Krabby Patty: The Krusty Krab is now open 24-hours-a-day, which means that the Krusty Krab employees have to work round-the-clock and without a break. At first the prospect of never leaving work is like a dream come true for SpongeBob. But soon the relentless schedule takes its toll, and SpongeBob develops an inexplicable fear of Krabby Patties preventing him from doing his job. Plankton seizes the opportunity and disguises himself as SpongeBob's psychiatrist in an attempt to extract the patty's secret formula from the stressed-out sponge. Shell of a Man: Mr. Krabs is getting ready for a big reunion with his old seafaring buddies when he suddenly molts his shell. It seems the years of owning a fast food restaurant have taken their toll on Mr. Krabs' waist line. And now that his armor-like shell no longer fits, Mr. Krabs is left quivering, shell-less, and pink. Afraid that his tough-as-nails friends will only ridicule him, but reluctant to not make an appearance at the get-together, Mr. Krabs disguises SpongeBob in his old shell and forces him to go to the reunion in his place.

Eugene H. Krabs and Sheldon J. Plankton have been business rivals and bitter enemies for longer than anyone can remember, but, one day, during another one of Plankton's failed attempts at stealing the Krabby Patty formula, Eugene reveals that they were not always this way. There was a time when the two rivals were actually the best friends. Through a series of flashbacks, Eugene tells the tale of how that great friendship between him and Sheldon turned sour, and how the Krabby Patty was born in the process.

Accidents Will Happen: When Squidward gets hurt on the job, he threatens to take legal action unless Mr. Krabs agrees to cater to him hand and foot. Mr. Krabs and Plankton find a common enemy in the popular new "Flabby Patty" restaurant. Drive Thru: Instead of paying to patch up a hole in the wall of the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs decides to use it to make more money by turning it into a drive-thru window. Tony Fast, Jr., the son of a famous race car driver, teaches SpongeBob how to drive.

SpongeBob finds a nasty sea urchin living in the Krusty Krab, and tries everything to force it out. After getting his groceries stolen, Squidward convinces SpongeBob and Sandy to teach him karate.

SpongeBob and Patrick tour the surface world, while the rest of Bikini Bottom prepares a surprise party for SpongeBob. And in celebretion of the show's 20th anniversary, since 1st May 1999.

Plankton needs help stealing the formula, so he hires an intern who knows more about Mr. Krabs than anyone. Patrick goes into a destructive fit whenever he hears a bell, so his friends help him in their own ways.

Plankton joins the League of E.V.I.L./SpongeBob and Patrick take Squidward on a plane to a tropical resort.

Sandy gives her friends special saltwater trees, but they need more attention than she expected. SpongeBob and Patrick mistake a burglar for the tooth fairy.
