Billy Hudson falls off the Scarsdale Bridge and PC Bellamy is very unsympathetic towards his girlfriend Nancy because some years previously Billy and Nancy may have been involved in the disappearance of baby Julie Summers. Others seem to share his feelings because it turns out that Hudson was murdered, and soon Nancy's son Peter is kidnapped as well. Ossie Floyd leaves his old Rolls Royce to Bernie Scripps.
