episode S2.E15 january 1998Bobby spends the night at Helen's. While they are in bed, someone calls Helen and leaves a message on her machine. It's the police telling her they're going to bust someone, which Bobby overhears. And the person who's going to be busted is one of his clients. He tells Eugene who tells him that he's duty bound to tell the client. He tells the client and because of that they were ready for the police and some of them were killed. Helen says that Bobby was the one who told about the bust. So Bobby is arrested. Initially he was charged with something minor but later they decided to charge him with murder. So with Eugene as his counsel, they decide to let the judge decide if he's guilty.Vanished: Part 1
episode S6.E4 october 2001Bobby represents Jenny and Richard Baldwin against a pedophile about to be released from prison, who they believe kidnapped their son 18 years earlier. The couple wants Bobby to use a civil lawsuit to force him to tell them what happened to their son - a trial that ends with shocking results. Meanwhile, Jimmy is desperate to scrape up the money to pay his bookie, and ends up stealing from a client to do so.
