    Lorna will not sleep until she finds out what happened to Aoife Cassidy and what Aoife knew. The town's laundry survivors are campaigning for justice. Lorna discovers that Aoife spoke to another survivor. Past betrayals surface and end in tragedy. Colman and local garda Massey join forces to trace Father Percy's murderer. Key evidence has been destroyed, but Colman identifies his murder suspect as Aoife, whilst Lorna's strange behaviour draws her to his attention.     A survivor's funeral puts Lorna on edge. Her sleeplessness is getting to her, but hope comes through unexpected information about Clemence's daughter which might hold the answer to her own child's fate. Colman feels that he has the evidence he needs to place Lorna and Aoife together, until a final showdown with Lorna takes an unexpected turn.
