Ten years have passed since the arrival of the monsters and the areas infected by these strange beings have spread throughout the planet. The army tries to control the affected areas with bombardments destroying the lives of the local people who have already learned to coexist with the monsters. Four friends enlist in the army as the only alternative to leave their hometown in Detroit behind and are forced to undertake a secret rescue mission that will force them to face the horror of war and their deepest fears.
