Simone, Sipowicz, Medavoy and Martinez together conduct an investigation into the death of a worker at a construction site, where more than a building is being framed and try to sort out a feud between two different unions. Meanwhile, Geri reports to Sipowicz about finding a friend of hers who has hung himself and Fancy suggests that Russell and Kirkendall conduct the investigation, which reveals the man died from kinky sex... with Geri. But the dangerously disturbed, sex-obsessed Geri will not speak to anyone about the case except for Sipowicz whom she has an obsessive crush on. Martinez stays close to Gina while she is recovering and preparing to get her stitches from her horribly scared face removed and offers him to let her stay the night with him.

Simone, Sipowicz, and Russell investigate a shooting of two women and later go into a raid on a drug dealer's apartment in which Russell risks her life to capture the dealer/murderer, but later Russell tells Simone that she happens to be pregnant. Meanwhile, Martinez and Medavoy look into the murder of a prostitute, despite Martinez's complaints about a back problem that later gets him taken out of the squad. Also, Naomi tells Simone about her problems with her landlord who has reported her to the INS.

Simone and Sipowicz look into the shooting of two women (one of whom was killed) who were raped by a group of men in an apartment owned by a former crack dealer, named Jamal, who was crippled in a previous shooting incident. Sipowicz confides in Simone about his medical condition when Simone sees Sipowicz's doctor pull him aside and talk to him confidentially. Meanwhile, Kirkendall, Russell and Medavoy investigate a shooting at a clinic. When they get a woman suspect into custody, a security guard from the clinic who was her secret admirer comes to the precinct demanding she get a second chance.

Mike Roberts is found dead. John reveals a connection between Roberts and Cullinan, who was with Dolores when she died. Mike left behind a memoir detailing some of his work. Jill goes undercover as a drug-addicted hooker.

Danny and Andy catch an assault that looks like it was done by the boys in blue. Jill considers dating her ex-husband.

Andy and Danny investigate the robbery of an elderly couple; Medavoy and Jones deal with a wealthy woman with a grudge against her former maid; Danny's informant, J.B., seems headed for disaster.

Sipowicz and Sorenson try to get one scared witness to identify a murder suspect, while Russell and McDowell guard another witness who's due to testify in a murder trial.

The detectives work to solve two murders: the shooting of a rising rap star and the shooting of stripper found nailed to a table. McDowell and Sipowicz try to define their relationship.

The detectives investigate two crimes: the murder of a back-alley cosmetic surgeon and a violent rape; Clark finally takes Laughlin on in the boxing ring.

When NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer Heather Peterson is murdered, the detectives find her diary that details the sexual habits of the police officers at the 15th precinct. These findings cause the detectives to suspect the officers of the 15th precinct had something to do with her death, and the investigation of the cops cause tension between the officers and the detectives.

As Andy and Connie prepare to finalize the adoption of baby Michelle, Frank Colahan's mom and dad show up. Connie sweetly and sincerely tells them they want the grandparents to be part of Michelle's life to the fullest extent possible.

Sipowicz, Russell, and Clark attempt to connect the murder of a young woman to two other killings; Medavoy and Jones investigate the shooting death of a mother whose children feared her.

Sipowicz and Clark search for an African-American driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident after unwittingly running over an Italian mobster's young daughter.

Haywood reopens an 18-year-old case that has Andy reliving a major mistake in his career. Meanwhile, Sipowicz and Clark investigate the death of a man whose brother was pursued by a bounty hunter. Elsewhere, Ortiz gets a new partner, Detective Kelly Ronson, who ends up lending an unusual hand during the hunt for the child an ex-con had to give up before going to prison.

Sipowicz and Clark investigate the stabbing death of a coffee-shop owner who was attracted to young girls; Ortiz tries to keep her cousin out of trouble; and Medavoy and Jones link a murder to a paralyzed police officer and his family.
