Carl arrests him. When his family finds out, they believe he was in the wrong and ignore him, and urges him to apologize to Buddy. It is only after Buddy Goodrich visits Carl at his home, unbeknownst to both of them, the rest of the Winslows overhear the conversation in which Buddy admits what he did and tries to bribe Carl, saying he will have have his assistant lie at the hearing, that the Winslow family sees him for the type of person he is. Buddy is thrown out of the house.

Even though Laura eventually gets over her shyness and asks Mark out, Urkel decides to stay until 10 p.m. - the earliest his folks want him home - and makes himself at home!

Carl wants to take matters into his own hands, but Urkel reminds him that if he were to do that, he'd only destroy much more than his career. One night, when Eddie and Urkel were confessing their misdeed to Carl, they fall asleep again - only for Harriette and Rachel to nab the burglars in the act. Eddie and Urkel eventually have to re-take the test.

Steve completes the pad on time and teleport to the hotel to enlist Carl's help to stop Gilbert. Meanwhile, Stefan decides that he needs to go to Milan to pursue his career. Eddie is finally able to talk to the French girl that he likes.

Meanwhile, Eddie and the rest of the family are exchanging gifts until Harriette tells them Stefan is here. Laura finally calls it quits with Curtis and stays with her current boyfriend. Her ex-boyfriend angry and warns Urquelle if he hurts Laura in a matter he hates, he will pay for it. Stefan tells him that he won't hurt her in the emotional way that Curtis did.

As the angry contestants chases Myrtle around, he rightfully calls her out for being a manipulative, lying cheat. He tells the audience that Myrtle was using the pageant as a means to reaffirm her love for Eddie and will stop at nothing to get him, even if it's cheating. He reminds her that his friend will never ever love her the same way that he loves Greta. He tells her that it is extremely unacceptable and she knew the rules by hand. She chose to dismiss them and therefore, she loses by default. Myrtle is angry and embarrassed that Steve would dare disqualify her from the competition and leaves.

That is until Carl shows up to his office and deals with the matter himself, by telling Steve that he's found a nice apartment on Argyle Street. Mr.Tolbert is completely mortified when he learns Urkel will be his next door neighbor and he agrees to lower Carl's home owner's insurance on the grounds that he keeps Steve away from him. Meanwhile, Eddie learns an important lesson that it's better to act your age and stay true to your current girlfriend when he's tempted to flirt with an older woman.

    Steve's Aunt Oona from Altoona returns to visit her nephew and the Winslows again. Unfortunately, she's embarrassed about the extra weight she gained from eating so much. She's desperate to lose the extra weight to impress Reverend Fuller at church. Steve comes up with a solution for his favorite aunt, his fat compressing invention should do the trick. He isn't sure if it'll work 100% because he never tested it before, but Oona's determined to try it. She gets in and he starts the invention. It is a complete success as she steps out much slimmer than before. Carl is impressed by it and admits he should try it sometime. Like most of Steve's inventions, it eventually backfires and Oona reverts back to her overweight self. She runs out embarrassed by the whole thing and Steve makes a mental note to work on his fat compressing chamber more. Reverned Fuller makes a visit to the Winslow house and admitted to her that he like BBW - Big Beautiful Women.

Greta is the next to bet for Eddie, but she loses to her rival, Myrtle. Finally, Steve shows up in his new look, a green buttoned down shirt, with black slacks reaching to his ankles, new black shoes, no suspenders and oval silver rimmed glasses. He spoke with his new deep voice. While many girls bet for Steve, Laura is impressed by his new look, wins the bet and they share a kiss. Meanwhile, Carl is jealous of Harriette's high promotion that he ends up a second job being a moonlight parker.

    With the space ship unable to return to Earth, it's up to Steve to save his fellow crewman by gently removing the satellite that got stuck to its side. Once successful, he brings the crew home. Meanwhile, Myra makes one last push to get Urkel to come back to her, by pretending to be his fiancee. The plan fails and she eventually gives up on her pursuit. During that time, Carl helps Harriette understand her son's need to be a police officer. Eddie's meter maid duty takes a dangerous turn.

    Steve, Stefan and the Winslow family spends a vacation at Paris with his Urk-Pad after accidentally sending Carl in place of cheese to his pen pal, Nicole. All is not well when they first arrive, Eddie accidentally damages the café that his parents were eating at and is forced to work there to pay off the damages. Then Nicole is blackmailed by her opportunist cousin, Gilbert to get the plans of the Urk-Pad. Meanwhile Stefan looks to Steve and asks him to help him build his family tree (per Laura's recommendation). The nerd not only helps him build his using the Urkel family tree, but he also admitted that he created Stefan for a lot of things he wanted to be in his life. Stefan admitted that he wasn't a smart guy, but does come close.
