The white-picket-fence world of the Hart family collapses when Texas soccer mom Reba discovers that her dentist husband Brock is leaving her for his impossibly perky and unfortunately pregnant dental hygienist Barbra Jean. As if that bombshell isn't enough, Reba also learns that her 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne is pregnant by her boyfriend Van. Concerned with the effect all this chaos will have on 12-year-old Kyra, and 9-year-old Jake, and determined that her family will muddle through this domestic mess together, Reba summons her courage and plans a shotgun wedding while trying to keep the husband-stealing future stepmother of her children at arm's length

With Cheyenne & Van back from their honeymoon, they return to school. The principal wants the pregnant Cheyenne to consider a different school. Reba says if Cheyenne cannot attend, Van does not attend. Van is the star football player.

Everyone has a hard time adjusting when Van moves his belongings into the Hart household, on the same day that Reba discovers that the obstetrician she has chosen for her daughter Cheyenne will also be delivering the baby of ex-husband Brock and his mistress Barbra Jean.

Cheyenne has morning sickness. Brock tells Van it is just mental because Barbra Jean does not have it. Turns out, Barbra Jean hides her sickness. Jake spends a lot of time at a friends house, but the friend does not stay at Jake's.

Van talks Reba into hosting the football team's traditional pre-game dinner, but when Cheyenne accidentally buys a new brand of potato salad, the team believes that the break from tradition is an omen of certain doom, leaving Reba to save both the team and Cheyenne from disaster.

Reba's kitchen sink is broken. She calls a plumber. The plumber flirts with Reba; they go to the store to pick out new fixtures; he kisses her when they return. On a football game trip, Cheyenne & the cheerleaders moon the players.

Kyra does not want to spend time with her father since it includes Barbra Jean. Cheyenne & Van plan to move out. Reba & Brock will not lend money. Van asks his parents. They give money, truck, and place to live - with strings attached.

Kyra switches from the clarinet to the tuba because of a boy. Van flunks his history test and cannot play in the football game. Van is allowed to take a make-up test. Brock & Reba tutor him. He knows the answers but is just nervous.

Reba's longtime friend Lori Ann returns to their hometown. Lori Ann encourages Reba to get rid of Brock's junk out of her garage, and they find a photo that suggests that Brock was fooling around with B.J. long before him and Reba separated.

The divorce is final in a month. Reba celebrates with lunch. When Reba pays, she finds her credit card is declined. Reba is angered to find out Brock gave a card to the same account to Barbra Jean and she ran up the bill for her wedding.

Reba's parents are visiting, celebrating their 46 years of marriage. Her mother tells Reba what makes a good marriage and Reba feels like she failed. Reba makes a celebration lunch for her parents and Barbra Jean attends - uninvited.

Reba gets a teaching job at Cheyenne & Van's school. Cheyenne does not like it, but her friends do. Seems her friends want to marry because Cheyenne & Van seem so happy. Reba tells Cheyenne to tell her friends how difficult it really is.

Brock's father died on a golf course. Brock asks Reba to help plan the funeral. Barbra Jean wants the funeral a grand event and play the bereaved woman. Brock changes the plans. Cheyenne and Van get an ultrasound and find out it is a girl.

Reba gets the final divorce papers, and Lori Ann tells her it is time to start dating again. Lori Ann makes her call Parker, Reba's former college boyfriend. Reba and Parker go out, and Reba remembers why she dumped him before.

Brock and Barbra Jean's wedding day is near: BJ got Cheyenne and Kyra shiny purple dresses, Kyra doesn't want to attend, BJ wants Reba's blessings. Reba saves the day by talking to Kyra, changing the dresses, giving her blessing, and more.

Van is named Football Player of the Year. All plan to go to the awards banquet. Van also wants his parents there. His mother goes and is moved by her son's speech. She decides to live with Van, at Reba's. Kyra gets straight A's at school.

Cheyenne signs her and Van up for Lamaze class. He is reluctant, but he enjoys the first session; Cheyenne does not. For the next session, Cheyenne cannot attend due to homework, so Reba goes with Van. Brock & Barbra Jean are in the class.

Reba throws a baby shower for Cheyenne & Van. Reba tells Brock to get Cheyenne something practical, so he buys them a car. But, they have to pay for half before they can drive it. Van gets a pizza delivery job; Reba has to drive him around.

Both Cheyenne and Barbra Jean's due dates for the babies is near. A football recruiter comes to see Van; Brock goes on an annual camping trip. Cheyenne thinks she is in labor and all go to the hospital. Turns out, BJ is in labor.

Van & Cheyenne are voted for Prom King & Queen. Van is sure to win, but probably not Cheyenne. Van asks the dorks at school to vote for Cheyenne and they can attend one of his parties. She wins, but the loser queen tells her why she won.

Jake scored his first goal at a soccer game - and Brock missed it, breaking another promise to Jake. Brock says they can build a treehouse, and Reba worries he will not keep the promise. Brock buys the treehouse, and the days pass.

Cheyenne & Van are about to graduate from high school. The principal does not want Cheyenne there, but she is determined to walk the stage to get her diploma. At the ceremony, Cheyenne goes into labor so Van carries her across the stage.

Reba is shocked at the lifestyle her kids are living when they stay with Brock and Barbra Jean, but when she confronts them she accidentally learns the reason that Brock left her for Barbra Jean. Meanwhile, on their first night out together since becoming parents, Cheyenne and Van admit to each other that their baby is a nightmare.

Van & Cheyenne are living in the dorm. Reba sees this as an opportunity to spend more time with Kyra who always seems to be in last place. Van injures himself at football and has to leave the dorm. Things are back to the way they were.

Reba, against her better judgment, accepts working at her ex-husbands office.

Cheyenne goes to college; Van stays home to watch Elizabeth. Reba starts work with Brock, with Barbra Jean as the boss. BJ makes her wear a uniform, use a sing-song voice to answer the phone, and more. BJ shares marital problems with Reba.

Reba throws a birthday party for Jake. Barbra Jean butts in to make it a grand, childish event. Reba tries to not insult BJ but it gets difficult. Cheyenne worries the noise will wake Elizabeth; Van says try letting her cry back to sleep.

Kyra has a boyfriend. Reba and Brock are concerned because she is still young. When Reba meets the boy's divorced father, they flirt and start to date. Kyra does not like this. Things become complicated when Kyra and the boy stop dating.

Reba quits working for Brock and starts working for his competitor. With Reba busy at work, Jake spends more time with Barbra Jean and he starts calling her Mom. Van gets a job doing garden work and enjoys spending time with his co-workers.

Reba and her friend Lori Ann go out to meet new people, but nothing happens. Cheyenne convinces Reba to try speed dating. Reba meets someone she enjoyed talking to, and they made arrangements to go on a date.

Reba invites her boyfriend to have dinner with her family. Brian easily wins everyone favor. Barbra Jean's family is having a reunion and everyone except Reba has to go. BJ is the butt of jokes with her family; Kyra helps her fight back.

It's Elizabeth's first Christmas and Reba looks forward to Christmas with a baby. But Van & Cheyenne want to go somewhere else for Christmas. Brock takes Jake and Kyra goes with a friend. Reba is alone and helps at the homeless shelter.

Reba suggests making a time capsule for Elizabeth which would include everyone recording messages. The recordings are secret, but after the box is bundled, everyone is curious about what others said. They decide to watch the tape together.

Reba has financial difficulties and has to sell her engagement ring on E-Bay to make money. Brock is upset and starts bidding on the ring. When Barbra Jean finds out, she thinks the ring is for her. Van wants to buy a ring for Cheyenne.

Cheyenne and Van have a false pregnancy scare. Reba admonishes them for not taking more precaution and tells them they cannot have another baby while living there. Barbra Jean wants another baby; Brock has to admit he had a vasectomy.

Kyra is upset that Reba will not get her a cell phone so she starts being close to Barbra Jean. Brock convinces Reba to tell BJ that she should get a makeover. BJ does, but her new look surprises everyone.

Reba and Brock attend a party out of town for what they think is a party for an old friend. Turns out it is a funeral for that friend. Barbra Jean is worried about them being together. Van & Cheyenne are in charge of Kyra and Jake.

Jake likes a girl at school. Brian asks Reba out for Valentine's day but she is nervous and pretends to be sick. He brings over chicken soup and tells her he loves her. Brock and Van compete for finding the best gift for their wives.

Reba has to deal with two dentists arguing-her boss and Brock. Reba is surprised when she finds out why they feud. Van gets a job doing yard work, being paid under the table, and is surprised when he finds out it is cheating the government.

Brock's mother, Grammy Hart, comes to visit and Reba is surprised when her former mother-in-law is nice to her. Grammy Hart saves her evil ways to lash on Barbra Jean. Cheyenne thinks Van should forgive and forget his parent's rejection.

Van and Cheyenne reconcile with Van's parents. The parents give Elizabeth a pony and want to babysit her overnight. Reba is anxious over not having her granddaughter. Meanwhile, Van returns to football and has little time for Cheyenne.

After a false alarm for someone breaking into the house, Reba decides the girls need to take self defense lessons; Barbra Jean attends with them. Brock decides to install a burglar alarm system and allows Jake to select the password.

Reba organizes a silent auction at Jake's school and has no volunteers. Barbra Jean volunteers to help her. Van offers private football lessons for the auction and Cheyenne is jealous when he is a hit with the women who want to bid on Van.

Reba misses a near-fatal accident. She decides to write a will and put things in order. She finds out Brock has a new will which leaves everything to Barbra Jean. Van & Cheyenne write a will and leave the care of Elizabeth to Brock & BJ.

Brock & Barbra Jean return from San Antonio with thoughts of moving. Kyra's high school grades earn her a chance to study in England for the summer, and Cheyenne finds out she has to attend summer school. Reba only has money for one child.

At Reba's house, Kyra feels like she is last in line for everything. Kyra tells Brock she wants to move in with him and Barbra Jean. Van and Cheyenne want to use Kyra's room as a nursery.

The entire family must deal with the fact that Kyra is leaving the home to go live with Brock and Barbara Jean.

Kyra is living with Brock & Barbra Jean, and becoming closer to Reba. Barbra Jean thinks she knows how to raise a teen and makes a lot of rules.; Cheyenne's snoring keeps Van awake.

Barbra Jean sets a night of family fun rolling coins into wrappers. Reba tells Cheyenne to attend a career fair to determine a job choice. Cheyenne complains to Brock and discusses his job. She decides to be a dentist. Reba is doubtful.

Kyra is not sharing information with her mother, so Barbra Jean tells Reba to do what she does: read Kyra's email. Reba, Brock, and Barbra Jean read an email that says Kyra's going to an unsupervised party.

Babara Jean tells Kyra to avoid people who smoke marijuana. Kyra asks her father if he smoked. He lies and says no, and then agonizes over the lie. Reba is proud to say she never smoked pot. Cheyenne tells van about her drug use.

Reba cleans Kyra's room and packs things to send to Brock's house now that she is living there. Kyra stops sharing with Reba. Barbra Jean hosts a communication workshop at Reba's house for her and Brock. The whole family soon joins in.

The former owner of Brock's house died while at home; Reba convinces Barbra Jean that the house is haunted. Barbra Jean is so frightened she stays at Reba's place. Reba says they should hold a ghost purge ceremony to get things right again.

Kyra wants to keep a cat so Barbra Jean helps hide the cat in the attic since Brock is allergic. However, it seems Barbra Jean is the one that is allergic. Jake seems to enjoy spending more time at Brock & Barbra Jean's home than Reba's.

Van and Cheyenne are off to a football game and need someone to watch Elizabeth. Barbra Jean volunteers. When Reba finds out Barbra Jean once lost Henry at a mall, Reba does not want her to watch Elizabeth.

Reba tells Cheyenne she should learn to cook, so she asks Barbra Jean to teach her. Reba tells Jake to run the fund-raiser 5K race for school, but he convinces her she should race. Both Reba and Brock train for the race and get competitive.

Cheyenne passes her Dentistry Test. Van wants to quit school and try out for arena football, a step towards professional football. Reba thinks it is a bad idea. When it seems he tried and failed, Reba tries to get him a second chance.

Kyra talks to Reba about a boy she likes. Reba tells her to ask the boy out. Brock and Barbra Jean are upset. When the boy picks up Kyra, they find he is 17 years old and even Reba is upset. Van helps Jake who is being picked on by bullies.

When Van catches a ride home from the airport, to avoid an argument, he lies and tells Cheyenne a buddy drove him instead of a female team employee. Cheyenne finds out and there is an argument.

Brock takes Van to the country club to play golf. Reba talks to Brock and Barbra Jean about raising money for Kyra's college fund. Reba suggests that Brock sells his country club membership. Brock announces he is quitting work to play golf.

To make money for Kyra's college fund, Reba and Barbra Jean start making and selling patch work shirts. Van announces that he is going to shave his head to show team unity, and Cheyenne tells him not to.

Kyra is skipping school and says it is because she is being picked on. Later she is suspended from school because she hits another classmate. The reason for hitting a classmate is a surprise.

Kyra sneaks out of Brock and Barbra Jean's house in the middle of the night to sleep at Reba's. Van and Cheyenne are to appear on a cable sport show, but Cheyenne does not want to.

Barbra Jean fixes Reba up on a blind date, much to Reba's chagrin. Barbra Jean & Brock go on the blind date with them. Cheyenne is happy that their bonus money is earning interest, but Van buys a car with the money without consulting her.

When Reba takes Van's new car out joyriding, she accidentally scratches it and has to tell him.

Barbara Jean comes to Reba when she suspects that Brock is having an affair. Reba agrees to ask him about it, and Brock reveals that he has been going to a therapist and is taking anti-depressants.

Cheyenne turns 21 and wants Reba, Barbra Jean, and her to go out to celebrate, but Reba and BJ are not talking. BJ does not want Reba to tell Brock to continue his happy pills. Van does not know what to get Cheyenne for her birthday.

Barbra Jean wants to talk to Brock about another baby. Brock does not want to talk to BJ -he talks to Reba. BJ sees them talking, and things start falling apart. Cheyenne & Van forge Reba's name to an application for an expensive apartment.

Brock thinks it was a mistake to divorce Reba and marry Barbra Jean. BJ announces she is leaving Brock. Reba does and does not want to hear it. Brock still loves BJ. BJ decides to kick Brock out of their house.

With Brock's move out of the house, Reba says Kyra should move back to Reba's. Kyra feels she should stay with Barbra Jean to help with her separation. BJ does not act depressed - she is enjoying her freedom. Reba feels she is just acting.

Reba tells Barbra Jean she should go out and mingle. BJ does not want to go alone and makes Reba go with her to a night club. They have fun together and meet guys. But, BJ is supposed to be going to marital counseling with Brock.

Van tells his potential new agent a secret about his mother-in-law, Reba. Problem is, the secret isn't true.

Reba and Cheyenne throw a surprise party in honor of Van's new Arena Football contract.

Reba learns that Babara Jean's therapist holds her responsible for most of their marital problems.

Brock wants to play professional golf. Reba encourages him to follow his dream. BJ is upset because she thinks this will end their marriage. Van is afraid he will miss his daughter growing up if he is away for arena football in Denver.

Brock & Barbra Jean vacation to San Antonio. Kyra wants to move back to Reba's house because she thinks she is the cause of Brock & BJ fighting. Van returns from training for the weekend, really tired. Cheyenne has activities planned.

Barbra Jean wants to host the Thanksgiving dinner. Reba says no. They compromise with BJ cooking and having it at Reba's place. With too many cooks in the kitchen, feelings are hurt. BJ confesses she feels like an outsider compared to Reba.

Kyra has a boyfriend and she wants to spend time with him even when Reba is not home. Reba agrees, but says no boys upstairs. Cheyenne & Elizabeth visit Van in Denver; Cheyenne is surprised how neat and clean his apartment is.

Van injures his tail-bone; the doctor says it is worse than that. He has a spine disease and needs to quit sports. The football team buys out Van's contract. With money in hand, he spends it on gifts for everyone. Reba's gift is a surprise.

Since Van cannot play football, he starts doing all the things he did not do before. He hires a nanny while he is off on his adventures. Cheyenne takes on more college courses in order to graduate sooner, feeling she is now the breadwinner.

Barbra Jean tells Reba she has a crush on her marriage counselor. Reba talks to the counselor and realizes that he and she have a mutual attraction. The counselor transfers Brock & BJ to another therapist, and then he and Reba go on a date.

Reba loses her job by insulting her boss. She takes up real estate and wants to show Brock's old condo. She gets a great offer but Brock decides not to sell. Kyra gets a job singing at a bar. Van takes her and realizes she has talent.

Reba starts playing online poker, and becomes addicted. She enjoys chatting with another player - then finds out who it is. Cheyenne wants Van to pay more attention to her. He sends flowers, but everyone thinks they are from someone else.

Reba watches Barbra Jean's dog Broq, but leaves the dog outside and it gets lost. Not finding the dog, BJ visits a psychic who tells her someone in the family did something to the dog.

Jake's school is holding a beauty pageant - with grandmothers! Jake asks Reba, but of course Barbra Jean wants to also do it. Jake really wants his mother in, so both are in. On the day of the pageant, they find out only one can be in it.

Reba has an interview with a real estate agency. The real estate agent visits Reba at her home to see her home environment. Reba gets the job, and then finds out Dolly Majors is too cut throat for her taste.

Kyra takes her driving test, passes, and gets her license. To celebrate, Reba gives her a cell phone - with a tracking device. Reba plans to monitor Kyra's movements. But Krya figured it out and traded it with Cheyenne - who drove to a bar.

Brock forgets to pick up Jake from a friend's home and realizes he needs to spend more time with him. Brock signs up to be a football coach and talks Jake into playing. Jake is terrible at football and feels he is letting his father down.

Reba is overwhelmed at work and needs an assistant. Reba reluctantly gives the job to Van. Instead of assisting, he joins in the sales pitch. Van closes the sale deal and Reba is jealous.

Reba thinks Van has a drinking problem, but it is Cheyenne who has the problem. Van promises not to tell because Cheyenne says it is under control. When it gets out of control, Cheyenne confesses. Kyra's band gets a job out of town.

Cheyenne starts smoking to take the edge off not drinking and starts using a pill that makes her sick if she has alcohol. Reba throws a party for her business clients and accidentally takes one of Cheyenne's pills. The party goes downhill.

Barbra Jean signs up Reba on a dating service website and convinces Reba to make a date with someone. Reba pretends to go out. Cheyenne & Van do the work around the house while Reba is out; Reba gets time alone to relax and enjoy herself.

A sales person in Reba's office buys houses out from Reba in order to flip it. Reba decides she and Van should do the same. Barbara Jean has a relationship with the navigator voice from the car.

Cheyenne returns from church with Elizabeth and shows Van the picture Elizabeth drew that does not include Van. Cheyenne wants Van to attend church with them. He no longer believes in God. Reba asks the minister for help with Van.

Reba and Jake take in a dog lost from Hurricane Katrina. The dog's owner track down their dog, and Cheyenne invites the family to stay with them until they get on their feet. Barbra Jean is in charge of Save the Dog campaign.

Reba is enjoying the preparations and pranks for Halloween, but sad when no one else plans to be home. Cheyenne goes to her support group party; Van is jealous she spends a lot of time with her hunky sponsor.

When Brock confronts his wife about her weight issue, Cheyenne adds Reba on the dieters' list of three.

Brock offers Cheyenne a dental internship at his office but Cheyenne announces she no longer wants to be a dentist. She enjoys helping at the senior center and giving seniors beauty makeovers. Barbra Jean is called to serve for jury duty.

Barbra Jean goes to her brother's home for Thanksgiving, but her brother arrives at Reba's place to have dinner there. Turns out Barbra Jean wrote letters to her brother pretending they were from Reba. The brother has feelings for Reba.

Reba and Van constantly bicker at the real estate office - Reba wants to be in control. Their boss insists they see a company therapist - or be fired. Brock & Barbra Jean see a sleep doctor who finds out why Brock is not sleeping at night.

Cheyenne helps at the homeless shelter and ends up just washing dishes. Barbra Jean goes on a business trip; Brock stays with Reba while BJ is away. Reba tries to kick him out, but he gets a kidney stone attack and Reba takes care of him.

Brock and Van go to a day spa for pampering. People there think they are a couple. Henry is out of control and Reba says Barbra Jean has to discipline him. BJ says she knows how to parent. Later, Jake blames a broken vase on Henry.

Brock & Barbra Jean get audited by the IRS, which leads to the IRS auditing Brock & Reba's returns for three years of their marriage. Brock has things to hide from that time. Van goes to one of Cheyenne's classes and is the hit among women.

After Barbra Jean tells her version to the IRS, Brock & Reba owe the IRA $75,000 in back taxes. Brock wants to sell his home, pay the debt, and move to Vegas; BJ does not want to move. Reba wants to talk him out of it for their kids sake.

Dr Morgan returns to town and wants to see Reba. Barbra Jean still has the hots for the doctor. Reba finds out Dr Morgan is still married and she does not want to be the cause of a marriage breakup. Reba talks to Brock about the situation.

Reba finds out Van controls the money in his marriage. Reba tells Cheyenne to be more involved and tells Van to treat Cheyenne as equal. Van decides the solution is giving Cheyenne an allowance. Jake makes money selling soda at school.

Brock cannot get a loan to pay the IRS debt; he decides to sell his house. Reba and Van buy the house and rent it to Brock & Barbra Jean. Reba insists on keeping it a business deal, but BJ balks. BJ decides to sprain her ankle and sue Reba.

Reba has laser surgery for her eyes. Barbra Jean takes care of Reba. Reba accidentally bad mouths BJ to BJ, thinking she is talking to Cheyenne. BJ is hurt and Reba apologizes. Reba says she is thankful for BJs friendship.

Reba is worried when she and Brock must attend an anger management therapy session that was mandated by the court during their divorce. Cheyenne and Van are required to be present as well, and Reba fears things have gone from bad to worse when everyone starts arguing in front of the therapist. Later, Barbra Jean crashes the session and the five adults end up telling the therapist about the crazy things they have done to each other over the years.

Barbra Jean gets a job as an insurance salesman and convinces Reba to buy a new policy. Unfortunately, during a required physical, it's revealed that Reba has high blood pressure, and Barbra Jean may be the cause. Meanwhile, Brock and Van worry about what to do for each of their impending anniversaries.

Cheyenne & Van decide to get married again and have a real ceremony. Everyone in the family has different ideas about the plans. When Cheyenne finds out Van invited his clients, Cheyenne calls off the wedding. But there is still a wedding.

Van and Cheyenne are not sure about their marriage after the failed second wedding. Reba collapses at church and is taken to the hospital. She wants to help Van and Cheyenne's marriage. BJ tries to help Reba, but that only makes matters worse.

Barbara Jean has lost a lot of weight, but Brock suspects that she's cheating on him with her fitness instructor, and persuades Reba to spy on her. In an unrelated story, Kyra is back.

Reba and Van have a meeting with a major real estate dealer, but it turns out that he only wants to hire Van.

Van, uncharacteristically, takes his job to heart and puts up a home office in the garage, and puts his nose to the grindstone, insisting that his partner, Reba, do the same. Kyra has misgivings about moving out of Reba's house and finds herself wanting to return.

Going against what she would term her better judgment, Reba goes along with the plan of letting Kyra, after having moved back in with her, drink an occasional beer. And Van takes it upon himself to address the issue of Jake's new passion for basketball.

The latest offer for Van to join the competition is so good that he can hardly afford to pass it up and Barbara Jean auditions to become the new local weather girl.

Reba deals with Kyra and Cheyenne, who are at odds because Kyra feels her sister can not get enough of the family spotlight after Barbara Jean goes overboard in creating a more relaxed atmosphere about Cheyenne, which just sends Van overboard.

Of all people, it's Reba that Brock turns to for a romantic suggestion for Barbara Jean. Meanwhile, Kyra's hidden video of Van has unexpected results.

When Barbara Jean's station brings in a new intern, she's convinced that the youngster is there to replace her, while everyone around Reba tries to convince her that the youngster is really a younger impression of Barbara Jean.

Reba deals with Brock living in her garage, trying to get away from Barbara Jean for a couple of days. Van deals with being fired as Jake's coach.

When Reba finds Van and Cheyenne the perfect house, it turns out to no be so perfect when everyone finds out Cheyenne's old rival from high school is the owner...and very unwilling to sell to them.

Kyra announces she is not going to college. She wants to start her life and travel with the band. Reba insists she goes to college, forcing Kyra to move out on her own. Cheyenne & Van buy furniture for their home.

Van and Cheyenne accidentally start a fire in their house and want to move back in with Reba. BJ has to make an important career decision that might cost her her marriage.

Van accidentally starts a fire at his and Cheyenne's new house, forcing them to temporarily move back in with Reba. Realizing they may not be ready for such a big responsibility, they ask Reba if they can stay with her, but she surprises everyone by turning them down. Barbra Jean seriously considers accepting a job offer from a station in Arkansas, so it's left to Reba to get her to turn down the offer and stay with her family where she belongs.

Reba is overwhelmed at work and needs an assistant. Reba reluctantly gives the job to Van. Instead of assisting, he joins in the sales pitch. Van closes the sale deal and Reba is jealous.

Van injures his tail-bone; the doctor says it is worse than that. He has a spine disease and needs to quit sports. The football team buys out Van's contract. With money in hand, he spends it on gifts for everyone. Reba's gift is a surprise.

Reba thinks Van has a drinking problem, but it is Cheyenne who has the problem. Van promises not to tell because Cheyenne says it is under control. When it gets out of control, Cheyenne confesses. Kyra's band gets a job out of town.

Reba has financial difficulties and has to sell her engagement ring on E-Bay to make money. Brock is upset and starts bidding on the ring. When Barbra Jean finds out, she thinks the ring is for her. Van wants to buy a ring for Cheyenne.

Cheyenne has morning sickness. Brock tells Van it is just mental because Barbra Jean does not have it. Turns out, Barbra Jean hides her sickness. Jake spends a lot of time at a friends house, but the friend does not stay at Jake's.

Van & Cheyenne are voted for Prom King & Queen. Van is sure to win, but probably not Cheyenne. Van asks the dorks at school to vote for Cheyenne and they can attend one of his parties. She wins, but the loser queen tells her why she won.

Kyra does not want to spend time with her father since it includes Barbra Jean. Cheyenne & Van plan to move out. Reba & Brock will not lend money. Van asks his parents. They give money, truck, and place to live - with strings attached.

Cheyenne signs her and Van up for Lamaze class. He is reluctant, but he enjoys the first session; Cheyenne does not. For the next session, Cheyenne cannot attend due to homework, so Reba goes with Van. Brock & Barbra Jean are in the class.

When Van catches a ride home from the airport, to avoid an argument, he lies and tells Cheyenne a buddy drove him instead of a female team employee. Cheyenne finds out and there is an argument.

Reba and Cheyenne throw a surprise party in honor of Van's new Arena Football contract.
